Gettysburg

We met with a Gettysburg Flickr group to photograph the sunset at Little Round Top. We got there a little early and we drove around some. These are some of the photos I took Saturday, I may post some others later this week.
I don't know the names of all these sites, note the cannon ball hole thru the barn and the horseback riders.

I believe this is known as the Witness tree

The gate at Triangle field with the Ellis monument in the background

Ellis Monument with the moon over his shoulder

Little Round Top, with General Warren in the background

As the sunwas setting, General Warren looks on.

My favorite of the day, I was practically laying on the ground to get this!

The observation tower at LRT, thru the arches.

Cannon and sunset, I focused on the US on the cannon. This would be perfect if the cannon was aimed right at the sun, maybe next time.

Wonderful photos Deb....my favorite is the one with the moon over the general's shoulder! I've never been there, makes me want to visit! Deb, it's your turn to choose your pendant now, Marty chose #8.....just letting you know if you want to come on over!? What is your favorite color? I know you like gold vs silver. I'm trying to get them out in the mail this week! Thanks! Lu
