Our 1955 Packard Clipper Custom

My husband, was born in 1955 and this year he turns 55 so what more of a reason do you need to buy one? Well, it started with Josh finding one on ebay, and with some investigation, e-mails and a phone call we decided to bid on it and we won the bid! I was hesitant to buy something like this through ebay, but the seller said if we didn't like it we didn't have to buy it. So our adventure to Paintsville, KY began Friday night, arrived at the guys business around 10am Saturday morning after an overnight stay in Elkview, WV.

Our test drive through Paintsville, KY

Dave and the man we bought it from.

On the road, my view of the trip! dirty mirror!

We stopped briefly to check and readjust the tie downs. Also there was a really neat barn I took some photos of, I will show other photos of scenery at another time.

Close-up of the hood ornament, the Packard emblem is not to be there, it should be a Clipper emblem.

My view again with a clean mirror!!

Later, much later as the sun was setting and the car was getting dirty from the snow and slush on the roads.

The trip to the car wash!

Josh meet us at the car wash.

At home at last! Arrived home around 9:30 pm Saturday night!

Oh and one last thing, If you don't know our last name is
Packard
