Sesame Street, Believe in Music, the Bands of America Honor Band marched with this float.

The second float barn we went in only had 2 floats and I believe the building is torn down after the festivities.

Float Barn

Volunteers preparing the flowers for the floats

This is a beautiful arrangement, and I don't think it was finished yet.

Well Fargo sponsored the Parade and this was the opening stage for the kick off, with dancers. When we went through the barn we thought this was a float, this wasn't totally done with flowers and natural materials like the floats.

This is the City of Roseville float, Entertaining Dreams for a Century.

Two other floats, The Garden of Oz and Trader Joe's Saturday's Matinee

Float Barn

On Tuesday Dec. 30 we went to the float barns to see them decorating the floats. Volunteers do most of the work while designers are there to show what and how things are done. This is the RFD-TV Float Hee Haw. You can only see part of the things going on. This building was in two sections and we walked on a platform high above the workers.

We Are Back

We got back last night about midnight. Overall a great trip! PA is so much different than LA, CA. good to be home. I'll post photos soon, need to upload them to the computer. Never got hooked up to the internet out there. Around here wifi is free in hotels our hotel was $13.00 a day extra fee. Breanne tried at Starbucks too, needed a password, so we assumed you needed to sign up or something and we just didn't have time for. I'm not sure how I will group stuff when I get to posting photos, I'l probably start with parade, game, Hollywood, Santa Monica, Malibu and other randam stuff. Even though Penn State did not win we had a lot of fans in California, everywhere we went people would say good luck, hope you win, even after the game people were glad Penn State never gave up and how the fans kept cheering them on when we knew we were going to lose. We are Penn State Proud.
