Owls and Frogs by Robin Lathroum

Robin, is living her dream designing hats and now designer stuffed animals!

First are her incredible owls! Great detail, with fur accents and multicoloered fun fabric!
Love the big button eyes!

Next we have the wild and crazy frogs, with their long jointed legs, that can be folded to fit  fun situations!
Stay tuned for her next fantastic creations!

More of Robin Lathroum's Quilts

Blogger is a pain to load pics the way you want them.
Sorry if this looks goofy, the last post has words on it I can't get rid of and now I can't arrange them without deleting them accidently.

Robin Lathroum's Quilts

Robin asked me to photograph her unique quilts, I did them two ways, first was laying them flat showing the fabulous colors and artistry, second was in a landscape setting. This is just the first of the series, hope you enjoy the potos as much as I enjoyed photographing them!

Photos for Robin Lathroum

After a recent photo club meeting I met a wonderful lady who liked my photos and she asked if I would be interested in photographing her fiber art and of course I said yes!! After a couple of phone calls and e-mails and her making new samples, we got together and this is the end result!!
You can find her hats at The Village Artisans Craft Gallery in boiling springs.

She uses some recycled materials, hand dyes fabric and uses vintage buttons and jewelry to create these beautiful and very well made hats.

This last one is for a man or woman, photographed to show the intricate work on the top!
She needed the photos for entry in juried art shows, so wish her luck!

What a great label!

I quick shot of the mannequin!

Good Luck Robin!
