2 Weeks Till...

We move out of the 7Mtn Campground

The campground we are moving too has 4 of the 7 new campsites ready and 2 from 7 Mtns are moved in. I think we are next, and if he is not finished we are moving anyway he said he will find us a place so we don't have to pay anymore to 7 Mtns.

You'll see the latest changes in the next couple of photos.

This area was full of permanent site campers, all are gone now.

It didn't take them long to put up a small pavilion, now advertising the new Phase 1 and their cabins they are selling.

Stone Arch Bridge, Lewistown, PA

I saw this bridge in a Mifflin Co. brochure but it took us awhile to find it. The bridge itself is spectacular but thee surroundings could use some trimming.
The weeds grown up along the banks was not very picturesque, I could see this being a popular site for wedding, senior, or family photos, but hard to work around the weeds.

The grass area was well kept.

The view from the rt 22 bridge was terrific

The tree branches could use trimming too. If not this will become a local hangout that can't be seen from the road.

PA Fairs

We went to 3 different fairs in the last 2 months, not spending a lot of time at any of them but had fun at the things we did get to see.

Mifflin County 4H Youth Fair

The first time we really got to see any garden tractor pulls

I liked how they leaned to get the most traction, some looked like they were riding a bull!

Breanne and Bear entered some photography and Bear also entered a wood working mirror project, which he won a blue ribbon. They one 2 blue and 3 red on their photography.

The York Fair
I only wanted to go to the fair to see if I won any ribbons on my photos, but a quick trip to the animals and we stayed watching a 500# pig having piglets!

We only got to be there for 2 of the piglets, she was in distress and they brought curtains in so she could have more privacy.

We found out later she had 14, one was stillborn and another one died later.

After the curtains were pulled at the piggies we went to see my photos, I didn't do as well as other years...
