East Berlin Colonial Day - 9.11.10

I have lots of photos I didn't get a chance to post, here is one set taken at the East Berlin Colonial Day. I went jusst to take photos, I haven't been there for a long time and heard it was having trouble getting vendors to participate. My first stop was the olde school house!

I thought some of these needed to be in sepia

Some vendors were juried and others were not. some antiques stands and vendors selling chinese food and a modern ice cream truck. A lot different from the colonial only crafts from a few years ago.

We Moved

A beautiful weekend to make the move out of Seven Mountains campground. It took only about an hour to take off the deck move it to the trailer gather up the firewood stored under the camper, and clean out a small storage shed. I moved stuff around inside so not to fall over, etc.
Why a picture of the electric meter? To serve as evidence as what the meter read when we moved out.

Josh backing the trailer off the site.

The deck is on a trailer and being taken to the new site by my brother.

Leaving the campground

Ready to get on RT.322

Arrived at Hemlock Acres 30 minutes later!

Our temporary site till the new one gets finished. The new site is just behind the camper across the road.

Penns View 10.10.10

Five miles from the Hemlock Acres campground is Penns View, a fantastic scene of the mountains. Penns creek runs through it.

Close up, this is the same bridge from Coburn that I posted earlier.

Had some visitor on motorcycles, as it turns out Dave knew them, they are some of the guys that are now doing the dual sport.

Coburn, PA

A mile or 1 from the Hemlock Acres campground id a little town Coburn, with Penn's creek running thru it. Just outside of town is a great tunnel, bridge and trail that has alot to offer and was a busy place when we visited.

An old railroad bridge converted to a walking bridge to a trail.

Black and white version, I've taken this photo of the bridge about 3 years ago, too.

On the other side is a trail

And the tunnel

A bunch of young people enjoying the day!

These photos were taken from the walking bridge.

An Amish buggy was in the parking area.

Love the Rossette on the bridle!

Can you find the horse?
